As you may be aware, as part of our celebrations for Her Masty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we held a Cream Tea Party to raise funds for the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre in Enfield.
The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre works to help improve the quality of life of cancer patients, their families, friends and colleagues.
All in all, Club members raised £450 for this wonderful cause. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed. Our sponsor, Harrison Funeral Home then matched this amount, and rounded up the number, bringing the total donation to £1,000.
Our donation will help the Nightingale continue its invaluable work, supporting people in Enfield affected by cancer.
