Causes We Support
Bush Hill Park Club is active in the local Enfield community and beyond with charity fundraising and support.
Since 1912, the Club has raised funds for charities and deserving causes, both locally and further afield. Bush Hill Park Club was established by the community, for the community. As such, our doors are open to all and so is our support.
As well as arranging our own independent fundraising events, we enable charities to host their events or simply get together in our hall, free of charge.

The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre
The Club’s nominated charity is The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre and you will notice various fundraising activities taking place around the Club on behalf of this very worthy cause.
For more than two decades The Nightingale has been working to help improve the quality of life of cancer patients, their families, friends and colleagues. Over the years, our members have raised tens of thousands of Pounds to support the efforts of this charity, as such we are featured on their website (here).
Fundraising for The Nightingale not only helps them to provide free services to people who desperately need support at a difficult time in their lives, but also helps to raise awareness of the services they provide to people who may need them but have not heard of the charity.
We hold various charitable events each year. We also have this JustGiving page, which enables people to donate directly online.
Our Chairperson, Mark Catchpole, said, “Bush Hill Park Club has been a supporter of The Nightingale for many years now. It’s such a wonderful and important charity, helping so many people in Enfield when they are diagnosed with cancer, and their families. Indeed, some of our members have first-hand experience of this support. So we recognise how vital it is to support The Nightingale and plan to continue to do so.”

Do you have a great idea for a charity fundraiser? Is there a fundraiser you yourself would like to arrange? Would you like to become an official Club Volunteer to help coordinate the Club helping others?
We invite you all – members and non-members – to get involved with our charity activities.
We have a fantastic hall, as well as facilities ready for use for lots of charity activities. The Club can help you promote the event in-house with posters and other marketing materials, as well as externally across social media.
