If you want to challenge yourself competitively in tennis, our team will help get you there. We have a number of teams available to join and are always on the look-out for players who would like to compete against other clubs, of all abilities.

Inter-Club Competitive Tennis
The club currently has a number of competitive teams in a host of competitions throughout Middlesex.
We are always on the look-out for players who would like to compete against other clubs, of all abilities, so please get in touch if you would like to join us.

Bush Hill Park Club ANNUAL TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP
Our annual Tennis Championship is one of the highlights of the Tennis section’s summer season.
The Championship is an historic event that has been held at the Club almost every year since 1920.
Winners of the Men’s and Ladies’ Singles have their names inscribed on the Honours Boards in the Club’s main hall, becoming elite members of the Bush Hill Park Club Hall of Fame.
All winners and finalists are presented with a memento.
The categories are as follows:
- Men’s singles,
- Ladies singles,
- Men’s Doubles
- Ladies’ doubles
- Mixed doubles
The tournament reaches a crescendo on Finals Day and we encourage as many members as possible to come and support the finalists, along with their family and friends.
A visit to our now traditional refreshment gazebo is hard to resist with goodies like:
- Pimms and lemonade
- Tea and coffee
- Strawberries and cream (just like being at Wimbledon)
- Homemade cake (even better than being at Wimbledon)
Towards the end of the afternoon the BBQ is fired up and the presentations take place. It is a fun sociable day and an opportunity to meet old and new members and friends.
