As you may have heard by now, the government is phasing the UK back into normality after the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In line with this phasing in, our Clubhouse Bar will be ready to serve you your favourite beverage outdoors only, in our al fresco seating areas, from Monday 12 April 2021.*
Information published by the government on 24 February 2021 here, states, “Outdoor areas at hospitality venues (cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, social clubs, including in member’s clubs) can reopen, including for takeaway alcohol. These venues may allow customers to use toilets located inside. At any premises serving alcohol, customers will be required to order, be served and eat/drink while seated (‘table service’).” The government guidelines further state that this is limited to a group of 6 people or 2 households.
The Bush Hill Park Club team is currently quietly working behind the scenes on checking stock, ordering supplies and making sure that everything is in place for April and outdoor service. Let’s hope the weather complies!
The bar and restaurant is being deep cleaned again, ready to serve indoors from Monday 17 May 2021. Again, you will only be allowed to socialise with one other household or in a group of six at this stage. You will need to be served at tables and wear a mask when not seated at your table.
Whilst the threat of COVID-19 may be subsiding, it will remain, unfortunately, in all our lives for some time to come. Therefore, we do ask that those visiting the Club for the permitted activities maintain standard hygienic practices such as thorough hand washing, etc.
We do plan on organising a big social event to welcome you all back once it is permitted (no earlier than Monday 21 June 2021). We will announce all scheduled social events in due course.
We look forward to serving you outdoors in April!
*Please note, each of these dates are subject to change or may be entirely cancelled if the government deems it necessary. We will of course keep you posted.
