Today, Bush Hill Park Club proudly hosted a Bowls Men’s County Friendly between Kent and Middlesex.
From last night’s table setting up; to the early hours this morning when the Green was being prepared; to the final gathering of glasses late this evening, everything ran like clockwork by you the Club members, as we prepared to host Kent Vs Middlesex. Many of our guests commented on how well the grounds looked – thank you Wednesday team!
One of the members of the Kent squad was so impressed that he purchased two bottles of wine to give to the serving staff! Another Kent squad member used the word ‘fantastic’ to describe the Bush Hill Park Club experience – from the welcome to the meal to the Green to the facilities.
On behalf of the Club, thank you to all who helped. This occasion has helped to put BHP firmly on the map for all the very best of reasons. The commitment shown today by new and old members was magnificent and can only bode well for the future in building up our great Club as we emerge from recent restrictive COVID-19 times.
Four of our Club members represented Middlesex County this afternoon: Jim Doyle received his full County badge and Gavin, Mike and Bill Bunn received their colts badges. Congratulations gentlemen.
