We are pleased to announce that our Bowls team has scheduled a charity match versus Dennyside Bowling Association on Monday, July 3rd, raising funds for Nightingale Cancer Support – Enfield!
And we are delighted to tell you that the President of Bowls England, with other bowling dignitaries, will be playing and taking part in the day too.
The brief format for the day is:
➡️ 12pm: Doors open – the bar will be open for people to grab their seats
➡️ 2pm: BHPC Bowls Vs Dennyside match start
➡️ 6pm: Bowls players sit-down three-course meal, then raffle draw, speeches, and charity auction.
Spectators are very welcome to bring a picnic and watch the bowls, or enjoy other activities the Club has to offer.
Raffle tickets are already available to purchase from behind the bar.
For those playing, the day is free of charge. Harrison Funeral Home and The Beehive Bar & Restaurant are sponsoring the main parts of the day. To attend the meal, there is a minimum donation of upwards of £25, please.
For those who do not know, Dennyside Bowling Association has the main objective of helping bowling clubs raise monies for local charities and worthy causes. At Bush Hill Park Club, we are honoured to be able to support such a worthy cause as The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre charity. Alongside Dennyside, we aim to raise as much as possible to enable the team there to continue with the wonderful work they do for people affected by cancer, and their families.
